Worldwide Warcraft: The Musical took about a week to make from start to finish. I spent only an hour or so writing out the script in the form of a simple timeline - the script was based on the song Dragostei Din Tei. When that was finished I began shooting the scenes in chronological order. After another week of shooting and editing, the movie was finally done!
One thing I learned is that you should NEVER, under any circumstances, try to get a horde and alliance guild to dance together on a PvP server. The horde guild decided it would be fun to gank while waiting for the alliance guild to show up, and when they finally did show up the horde couldn't con tain their burning rage of death... The whole thing broke out into a riot prety quickly. Don't try this at home... seriously.
Worldwide Warcraft: The Musical was edited using Pinacle Studio 8, video was recorded with Fraps, and the final product was compressed and encoded by none other than Windows Movie Maker - at least its good for something!
